Romance Review Roundup – November 2015
Whatcha been reading? Here’s my November Romance Review Roundup featuring Julie James, Loretta Hill, Jennifer Crusie, Tessa Dare, and Linda Hward / Linda Jones.
About that Night, by Julie James - 4 stars (4.08 on Goodreads)
This billionaire love story has a twist in that it's the heroine who has doubts about their relationship. I loved both characters and how they related to each other, even if I did doubt her reasons for cold feet. Click "View More" for my full review of the book,
The Girl in the Yellow Vest, by Loretta Hill - 3 stars (4.18 on Goodreads)
'm torn on this book. I liked the setting, I liked the research, and I feel like if I ever met Loretta Hill, I would like her too... which is why it's hard for me to admit I couldn't finish this book--while I know what Hill was going for with her two separate love stories in one book, the switch in POV wasn't smooth enough for me and I felt jolted every time it changed. Running Wild, by Linda Howard and Linda Jones - 2 Stars (4 stars on Goodreads)
While some reviewers thought the plot was too outlandish, I was ok with the woman-on-the-run plot. What I didn't like was the main characters thoughts on their work and each other. Click "View More" to read my full review of the book.
